8 DAYS SAFARI IN NORTHERN TANZANIA CIRCUIT AND ZANZIBAR BEACH Overview This seven-day safari gives you the chance to see the “Big Five” and sleep in amazing accommodations. We will be immersed in the unspoiled nature of real Africa, see wild animals up close, and take photos of the wonderful landscapes of Tanzania. This safari includes the assistance of a tour operator based in Arusha, full board, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of a 4×4 Jeep (with mineral water, power sockets, and binoculars). DAY BY DAY ITINERARY DAY 1 ARRIVAL AND PICK UP FROM KILIMANJARO AIRPORT TO ARUSHA A safari guide from our office will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for relaxation and your overnight stay. You’ll spend the evening preparing for your adventure the next day. You are welcome to explore the city with our guide for free. Arusha Planet Lodge DAY 2 ARUSHA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK. After breakfast we’ll depart for the Serengeti via Ngorongoro highland with your packed lunch box/hot lunch. You’ll enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. The rest of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive before you make you way to the camp. After spending valuable time for game drive, you will head off to your lodge/camp for relaxation dinner and overnight stay The Serengeti is well known for its migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Be ready to see resident predators, including leopards, cheetahs, and lion, all fulfilling their role in the circle of life. Meals: Full Board Signature Serengeti luxury camp DAY 3 FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK After breakfast in the morning, you will proceed with full day game drive in Central Serengeti and spend the day observing wildlife. Serengeti offers lots of wildlife throughout the year including carnivores like cheetahs, hyenas, leopards and lions. You’ll also see ungulates including buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, impalas, topis, warthogs and zebras. After completing your game drive you will get back to your accommodation Signature Serengeti luxury camp. Meals Full Board DAY 4 SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO Enjoy another game drive in Serengeti National Park before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which was separated from Serengeti in 1959. The resident Maasai in Serengeti National Park were relocated to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where they still live today in harmony with wildlife and nature. Your accommodation will be at Ngorongoro serena safari lodge in the rim of Ngorongoro crater ready for game drive in next day. Ngorongoro serena lodge DAY 5 NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR Early in the morning after breakfast you’ll depart for Ngorongoro crater tour, you will start descending into the crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colours of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. After spending valuable time for game drive down the crater you will drive back to your accommodation Serena Ngorongoro for relaxation dinner and overnight stay. The crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. DAY 6 NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA TO ZANZIBAR. After breakfast you will depart from Ngorongoro and drive to Arusha Airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. From Ngorongoro serena it takes almost 3 Hrs to Arusha, on the way there are many Curial shops and Maasai Boma you will arrange to visit curial shops to buy some souvenir. Sea Cliff Hotels DAY 7 FULL DAY BEACH TIME RELAXATION You will enjoy the beach for the full day, for further activities in Zanzibar you will arrange with hotels especially if you are interested with dolphin tour, Spice tour, stone city tour visit The Rock restaurant. Enjoy the final days of your Tanzania experience at your own leisure. Explore the amazing coral reefs, swim among thousands of colorful tropical fish, grab a surfboard and hit the waves or simply lay back for a bit of sun. Meal Sea cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar DAY 8 DEPARTURE FROM ZANZIBAR AIRPORT. This is last day of your Safari; our ground transport driver will pick up you from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar [Amaan Abeid Karume international Airport] ready for your flight back to your home country.
