DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Morning: Upon arrival at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, you'll be greeted by your safari guide.
Transfer to Tarangire National Park: A scenic drive of approximately 2.5 hours (120 km) brings you to Tarangire, famed for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.
Afternoon Game Drive: Enjoy your first game drive, seeking out diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, and various antelope species.
Accommodation: Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, perched on the edge of the Mto wa Mbu escarpment with breathtaking views over Lake Manyara. The lodge offers traditional architectural styles and modern comforts
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Morning: After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park, a journey of about 4-5 hours (220 km) through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Afternoon Game Drive: Upon arrival, embark on a game drive in the central Serengeti, renowned for its abundant wildlife and expansive plains.
Accommodation: Overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, seamlessly blending into the landscape with traditional thatched rondavels and offering panoramic views of the Serengeti plains.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Morning Game Drive: Experience the early morning wildlife activity in the Serengeti.
Transfer to Ngorongoro: Post-lunch, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, approximately 3 hours (140 km).
Accommodation: Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, perched on the crater's rim with stunning views into the caldera. The lodge's design is inspired by traditional Maasai dwellings, offering a unique cultural ambiance.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha
Early Morning Descent: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a half-day game drive. The crater hosts a dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five.
Afternoon: Ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, approximately 3.5 hours (190 km).
Drop-off: Transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey
